A Savoury of Masala Poori

Let’s agree to this- a pinch of spice doesn’t bother much..!!!

This time I decided to add a dash of masala to pooris. Yeah! Let’s make Masala Poori.


  • Maida (I believe you all are smart enough to decide the quantity as per your preference)
  • Water
  • Chili Flakes
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Salt
  • Ginger Garlic paste
  • Fennel Seeds (Saunf)
  • Spring Onions
  • Italian Seasoning (Optional)
  • Oil



Grease a bowl with oil and add some maida to it. Add everything else mentioned in the ingredients and make a dough. Cover the dough with a damp piece of cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes or just skip this step if you are too hungry. (Psst! Even I skipped the step). Now divide the dough into small pieces and roll into small pooris. Heat oil in a kadhai and fry. There you have your hot and spiced up Pooris!
